making your own chara is not a mary-sue...only if you make her/him more awesome and over-fortunate and perfect than they really are. Like mine is a ninja reject...nothing glamourous about that.

uhhhn that's true @_@ your character is pretty awesome. i've just seen a lot of mary sue ninjas and it makes me sad... I think it's just me, a lot of my friends wish that they were in the naruto world, but i've never fantasized about it ._. And when people make themselves less-glamorous, I look up to it.. like mangaka, at the backs of the books, they draw themselves as blobs. And that's respectable.
